Developing and maintaining a world-class product quality is a challenging task for any cutting tool manufacturer. Development of products with new or different characteristics that offer new or additional benefits to the customer is an ongoing practice in Miranda Tools. Product development may involve modification of an existing product or development of entirely new product as per customer specific requirements or market demand.
Research team consists of design engineer, metallurgist and experienced engineers work continuously for product development. All the products not only checked for specifications but also verified for performance. Performance trials are done inhouse at product testing laboratory having Mazak make VMC and Miranda make specially modified band-saw cutting machine. In-house product testing laboratory can simulate various test conditions on different work materials. Data analysis of product performance test, life test and benchmarking with world’s best manufacturer drives the product development and leads to continuous improvement in all the Miranda products. Also valuable performance feedback received from customers and application engineers are taking care for product development.
